Hello all and thank you to everyone who came out for our New Plant Presentation and Open House Tour! Terra Nova had such a great time with you all and are so excited to have received your feedback on what you want to see released in 2025! The votes are in and the forerunners are clear, we’re looking forward to bringing you the best!
It was a full day starting with a meet and greet and coffee, we got to see so many new and familiar faces!
First up we got an in depth look at our 2024 Releases direct from the man himself! Chuck Pavlich our Director of New Product Development shared all the details about our new varieties, from Coreopsis to Sedum!
Following the 2024 releases Chuck presented an exclusive preview of what’s to come in 2025. You’ll have to wait and see for pictures of those though!
Derek Hassing our Head Grower took us on a tour of the Gardens and Greenhouses and spoke on our weaning material. We start the majority of our plugs from tissue culture, both sourced from our lab and from offshore labs. This and our high number of Genera leaves us with a surplus of nuance required for the success of crops, that our Growing Team handles with insight, experience, and great care.
We finished our Tour in Greenhouse 30 where our plugs are finished, the quantity and colors always make an impact!
After some house plant gifts we headed to lunch and ended the day with big smiles and full bellies!
