Has an indescribable ornamentation of silvers, purples, and greens. The narrow, deeply dissected foliage with a dark chocolate center stripe is topped by summer blooms of creamy white. Tony Avent of Plant Delights was simply blown away with this plant and reports that 'Kimono' thrives in his southern garden. Killer metallic-rose winter color. Winner of the Medaille d'Argent in France in 2003 and an Award of Garden Merit.

How Different? 'Kimono' has a very large habit and large well-marked leaves. It has H. americana breeding. Compared to 'Tapestry' it is bigger and more silver green colored.
